This bench is constructed from 100% solid mango wood, a tropical hardwood similar to mahogany in hardness and grain pattern. Mango wood is a dense, durable, and highly sustainable hardwood. It takes stain very well, which allows our craftsmen to mimic other species such as Amber Oak, creating a radiant, warm finish that emphasizes the rich texture of the wood grain.
